Park/Beach in Imperial Beach. On Saturday June 4th, dozens of brave four-legged competitors will compete for the prestigious honor of owning the waves of San Diego, and the title of Surf Dog Champion. This year’s event benefits Loews Hotels’ Good Neighbor Partner, DonorsChoose.org. All across the country, thousands of public school classrooms lack the materials that are essential for learning. Donors Choose provides a forum for public school teachers to post classroom needs for individual donors to choose from and sponsor.

A special thanks to the prestigious panel of judges: Mayor Jim Janney of Imperial Beach, Kathleen Cochran, General Manager of Loews Coronado Bay Resort, Teevan McManus, Owner of the Coronado Surfing Academy, and John Bork, regional vice
president of Banfield Pet Hospital
